I can't believe our little Caroline is 2 months old today! We went to the doctor for her check-up and she weighed 10lbs, 7ozs and was 22.5 inches long so she's gained 3 pounds and grown 3 inches in 2 months! The doctor said she looked great and everything was fine except for a little congestion in her nose, which I've been treating with some saline & a bulb syringe (not so fun!). She also got 3 shots (2 on one leg & 1 on the other) and an oral vaccine, poor baby! She was already a little fussy from being undressed, weighed, measured, and examined, so she was REALLY mad when they gave her the shots. I had started giving her a bottle while we were waiting between the check-up and the shots, so I just gave her some more to calm her down afterwards. It didn't take too long before she was all better and she fell asleep in the car on the way home. Here she is being a trooper with her Hello Kitty band-aids:
We had a great time with Aunt Sarah this past weekend. We spent Thursday night in Birmingham with Chris' family and picked her up Friday morning and drove back to Huntsville. Caroline slept all the way back, then I fed her once we got home & she went back to sleep so we all took a nap! We relaxed on Friday, then Saturday we slept in, shopped, cooked out burgers on the grill for dinner, then went to see fireworks that night. Sunday we went to church in the morning, then Chris and I got to go on a date that night while Sarah babysat. Caroline did great and it was nice to get away - we went to Mellow Mushroom and had a yummy calzone :) Here are some pics from the weekend:

Ouch! Poor little girl! I'm sure the Hello Kitty band-aid helped...you guys never had such cute little band-aids when you got your shots.
It sounds like your sister does not live in Dallas anymore. I'm glad you are having such a good time with all your family members.
Sweet thing! I hated getting shots for my babies but we always survived... :) I miss Caroline's Aunt Sarah! :(
