We hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving last week. We enjoyed our time in North Carolina with Chris' family - I definitely ate for two and felt a little more round afterward. But I found some good maternity clothes at the Old Navy up there, some that actually fit and aren't so baggy - yay!
I can't believe I'm already 17 weeks and getting so close to the next ultrasound. This week, our little Sweet Pea is about 5 1/2 inches long and weighs about 5 ounces. The baby can now yawn and its nervous system is maturing rapidly. Nerves are forming more complex connections and the ones in the brain are specializing to serve the 5 senses.
Hope everyone is enjoying our new Christmas background. Next time we change it, we'll know what we're having and can really customize it for a boy or a girl! 2 weeks from Friday :)

We are so excited for you. I know you think the time will drag by until the sonogram, but it will be here before you know it. We are so happy that Aubrey will have a little cousin her age, because it will be a long time before she has any cousins on her mom's side! Haha! I read your blog often and wish you a pleasant pregnancy and a healthy baby. Can't wait to hear what the baby is!
