Now that I'm 39 weeks along, I feel like the end is in sight! Single digit days left - whoohoo! I can't wait to meet our baby girl!
Here's what happened this weekend:
I had a really rough night Friday night and thought I was going to be heading to the hospital! It all started when we went to bed around 11:30 and I was just feeling uncomfortable, "full of baby" as I like to call it. Well, I just couldn't get comfortable and then my lower back started hurting. I tossed and turned and made many trips to the potty, but just couldn't settle down. Then I noticed my belly was really tight like I was having contractions and my back would throb, but I never could really time them. And they weren't getting worse or more frequent or anything, so I didn't really think I was in true labor. So I tried walking around, getting a snack, sitting on the couch, etc. Nothing really helped and I couldn't sleep, so I just ended up doing sudoku for awhile and trying to decide if I needed to call the doctor or call any out-of-town family to start making the trip here. I finally got back in bed around 6am and finally got to sleep for a few hours. On Saturday, my back was feeling better and I just had frequent Braxton Hicks contractions, but nothing that really hurt. I was just afraid it would all start again the next night, but fortunately I've had 2 good nights since then. So I don't know what that was all about, but I'm glad it's over!
My parents are arriving tomorrow afternoon, and my sister on Wednesday, so I'm really excited they'll be here, hopefully just in time for the big day!
I'll have my last(?) doctor's appointment on Wednesday, so we'll keep everyone posted with updates as soon as anything happens!

I am so excited that your time is almost here! I'll be praying for you and I am looking forward to seeing beautiful Caroline.
This is so much fun! I love the anticipation (though I'm sure you're ready to quit anticipating and meet your sweet girl!).
