About the Same
At my 38-week appointment today, I didn't get to see my doctor again because she had to run over to the hospital to do a C-section. So I saw the head nurse and she was really nice and friendly and checked me. I was pretty much the same as last week, not really dilated (she said maybe 1/2 cm) and the baby was still really low. Her heart rate was 130-140's and I was measuring about the same as last week. While I was talking to the nurse, I felt like my belly was tight and asked her if she thought it was a Braxton-Hicks contraction or just the baby. She felt around and said it probably was a mild contraction and I've been having those a lot lately. So not much of an update, but maybe next week! Hopefully I can make it until then as some of my family are coming Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll see!

Yay! Sounds like you're hanging in there well. I know around this point in pregnancy, it can get very tiring and most women are just ready to have the baby. But keep remembering that every day spent in utero makes your baby a little stronger...
true, true!
