I went for my 36-week check-up this afternoon and had just about everything done to me: the usual blood pressure and urine check and doppler on the belly, along with the finger prick for iron (it's up to 11 something now, so we're good!), and this time the Strep B test and the check for dilation, etc. Well, no dilation or softening BUT the doctor said her head was low which meant for easy labor once I am dilated (meaning I shouldn't have to push much since she's already head-down and low). So I was a little encouraged by that! And the doctor said she doesn't see me having an 8 or 9 pound baby, maybe just the average 7 or so - YAY!
So I'll go back every week now, same day and time. No need to book any trips just yet ;)

Yay for an average size baby and a low head! :o) Don't be discouraged by no progress - I had made no progress at 36 weeks and Aubrey still came early. We're getting so excited to meet Caroline!
