Weekend & Sleep

Here's a little update from our busy weekend: Saturday, Caroline and I went to a friend's baby shower down in south Huntsville. Caroline did great and slept most of the time, then woke up toward the end and took a bottle and was good to go for the road again. Then we hung out with our good friends the Flemings and had dinner together before heading back to south Huntsville for a church get-together/dessert with our elder and his "flock." Caroline was a little fussy when we got there, but after a diaper change she was out cold in my arms and slept until we left! Then she ate when we got home and slept from 11pm to 6am! I guess she was worn out from all that going!

She did well at church (filled up her diaper again while we were there!), but we were exhausted from the day before so we didn't stay for Sunday school. Here she is in another dress that our foster babies used to wear (I forgot to write that the yellow dress she wore last week was also one):

Then Sunday night she slept from midnight to 7 o'clock! I was so proud of her for sleeping thru the night! She's only done that one other time and it was only until 6:40am, so this was great! I thought we were making progress, but then she woke up twice last night :( Maybe she's going through a growth spurt or something.

Yesterday we had Chris' mom and sister come up from Birmingham for the day. They hadn't seen Caroline in awhile and were just itching to come play. They brought Caroline some CUTE new clothes including a dress that Chris' mom had made and smocked for her and an outfit Aunt Carrye got that she'll have to grow into:
