Last week

My mom came up to visit for a few days last week and we had a great time. It was so nice to have someone to talk to (and listen to) while Chris was at work all day. We had fun playing with Caroline and just hanging out. She even babysat one night so Chris and I could go out to dinner :) We also had lunch with my Aunt Evelyn and visited with her awhile. We finally made arrangements for Caroline's baptism: it's set for Sunday, September 20th at our home church here in Huntsville during the early service. My mom had hand-made a christening gown in college more than 40 years ago and all 3 of her children wore it as well as a few others. Caroline will be the seventh baby to wear this beautiful gown so I decided to have some portraits made now since I had some help and things would be crazy the weekend of her baptism. I had some coupons for the JCPenney studio so we had them done there and they turned out beautifully! Here are some low-res shots (we'll put the rest on picasa):
