I can’t believe my baby is 3 months old! He’s such a chunk and weighs around 15 pounds now! He’s outgrown all his 3-month sleepers now and is almost out of his other 3-month outfits. He is still wearing size 1 diapers, but after this pack is used up I think we’ll be moving to size 2 with his chunky legs :).
Here are his first 3 month pictures for comparison:
His schedule hasn’t changed too much since last month, except that he’s down to 5 feedings a day with the first one around 9 or 9:30 a.m. I usually pump before he wakes up and then give him a bottle – he seems to be less gassy if I do this because he can take his time. And it’s better for me so I can get some relief!
He takes a short nap around 11, then I nurse him around noon, and again at either 3 or 4 after a longer nap. Then he’s up for a while and may take a short nap before his 7 o’clock feeding. Then he is usually a little fussy in the evenings and may take another short nap and has one last feeding before going to bed around 10:30 or 11.
He’s really a big talker and will break into a big grin if you just look at him and smile. Here he is talking to Gigi:
I tried to take a bunch of pictures of him today with our new lens, but it was so hard to make him smile with the camera in his face! I needed Chris to help me so I’ll try to take some better ones this weekend. Here are a few of the decent ones:
We’re so glad to have this sweet, sweet boy as part of our family! We love you baby Luke!!
