Chris’ mom was here visiting last weekend while his dad was out-of-town. We ate dinner at home Friday night and Caroline had fun swinging in the backyard afterward:

Then Saturday we went out to eat and then played in the fountains at Bridge Street. Caroline was a little scared at first and didn’t want to get too wet, but she had a blast!
Then Sunday we went to lunch at Cracker Barrel after church and got some pictures outside on the rocking chairs:

After lunch and naps it was time for Gigi to go home, but we had a fun time together!
Caroline started having a runny nose that morning and was not feeling well that night. Then Monday morning she woke up with her left eye matted shut! It took me a while to clean it up where she could open it and it was a little red, so I called the doctor. I figured it was just the cold coming out in her eye, but just wanted to make sure it wasn’t pink eye before going back to school this week. We went to the doctor and she said her throat looked bad so she checked her for strep. It wasn’t strep and her ears looked good so she said it must just be a cold. The doctor did prescribe some eye drops since Caroline is in school, and said to keep her out until today. She’s doing much better so I think she’s on the mend! I’ve been trying to keep the germs down so everyone else (especially Luke) doesn’t get it!
