Caroline had a great first week of school! On the first day, Chris and I (and Luke) walked her to her classroom and took pictures of our big girl going to school. She wanted to wear her sunglasses and looked too cute with her new backpack:
She did great going in and didn’t cry when we left. She hung her backpack on the hook with her name and just started playing:
Luke and I had a quiet day at home, unpacking and doing laundry. It was so strange to be with just Luke, but it was nice to be able to get things done!
Chris and I both went to the parent meeting back at school that afternoon and then picked her up together. She had a great day and even wanted to go back again!
I can’t believe my little girl is going to preschool! Her teachers said she did well and knew all the flashcards they were going over. Then on Thursday they told me she fell asleep playing! I couldn’t believe my child fell asleep during school when she has NEVER done that, even as an infant! I guess she was just worn out after 3 half days of school :).
