Friday night we went to a nice restaurant called Eastside Cafe recommended by a local and it was amazing!
We got a great table in the corner and the food was delish! It was SOOO nice to be able to take our time and have full adult conversations without being rushed or interrupted! (it’s the little things, ha!) Then we headed over to the Opry Mills mall and looked around and got ice cream. After the mall closed, we went back to the hotel and stayed up late talking ;).
Saturday, we slept until we wanted to get up and had a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Then we shopped the rest of the day at the Cool Springs Galleria and that’s where we did some damage:
That night we ate at Logan’s and headed over to the Grand Ole Opry House to see the Rockettes.
They put on a great show and it was so fun! The kick lines were amazing and they even had a live nativity at the end complete with camels, sheep, and a donkey, much to our surprise!
Then Sunday we headed back early to relieve our sweet husbands who took care of all our kiddos. They did a great job and we are so thankful to them for this break! They got to hang out together some with the kids and had fun too:
And thanks to Lauren for planning and driving and to Stephnie for the free hotel room! I feel like I was just doing good to make it after our crazy weeks of moving, ha! We definitely need to do it again sometime!
