My parents came up for several days last week and we had a great time. They arrived on Sunday and we had lunch with my Aunt Evelyn on Monday while the kids were in school (can’t believe I didn’t think to take any pics!). Then on Tuesday, Caroline’s class took a field trip to Tate Farms so my mom went with us and we brought Luke along too! It was cloudy and cool but the kids loved going again and being with their friends. First we took the hay ride to the pumpkin patch and everyone got to pick a pumpkin.
Luke was proud of his pumpkin but then he pretended to eat it and licked it! Silly boy!
Then it was off to the corn cribs. Caroline had fun letting her friends bury her in the corn. Luke wasn’t feeling it this time, I guess because of all the “big kids.”
But he loved it when it was time for the playground and the big slide!
Then it was off to the petting zoo and corn pillow:
It took Luke a while to warm up to the corn pillow this time, even though he loved it a few weeks ago:
We took a few candid shot and class pictures before heading home for lunch.
When we got home, the kids took a nap and when they got up, I let them paint their pumpkins.
Then Chris tried to get some pics out in the front yard. Wish they didn’t have their pajamas on, but oh well!
So hard to get both looking!
Then on Wednesday night, we all went out to dinner together and when we got back, we took some pics with Grandaddy:
We enjoyed having my parents here and look forward to being at their house in a few weeks!
