Also, we headed back to the doctor today for Caroline's 12-month checkup and for them to recheck her ears. Here are her growth stats: she's 29 1/2 inches long (she's grown 10 inches in 1 year!) and is in the 75th percentile for height, she weighs 20 lbs, 2 ounces (50th percentile), and her head circumference is 45 1/2 cm (60th percentile). The doctor said her ears looked better, but were still red, but her chest sounded good despite her coughing that started yesterday. I also told the doctor about her continued (and perhaps worsening) breath-holding spells and even showed her a video of it. It wasn't her worst one, but I figured she'd get the idea and know better what I had described. I was hoping to have the doctor sit in on her shots to see if she would hold her breath, but she was too sick to get them, so I was glad I had the video. The doctor recommended a EEG and a visit to the neurologist, just to make sure everything was okay. Please be in prayer for that as I'm sure it won't be a pleasant experience, but it'll be worth it to know what's going on!
