More Room Updates

The bedding I ordered for Caroline’s room and the nursery came in and here’s how it looks in their rooms:

I love this little comforter for Caroline’s bed – the light greens just match the wall color and the purple gingham is perfect with the other gingham accessories in the room! The nursery is coming together and I’m happy with the crib bedding – it helps to tie in the 2 different wall colors:

Also, I found this valence that has all the crib bedding and room colors in it, now I just have to hang some curtains:

We also got Caroline’s new dresser and I love the way it looks in her room! Here’s the before and after:

I had been looking for something to hang her bows on so I wouldn’t have to dig through drawers every time I wanted to pick out a bow. I never did find exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to make it myself. My mom and sister had helped me find a wooden butterfly at the craft store, then we painted it the colors of Caroline’s room (purple and green, obviously), added a splash of pink and a pink ribbon and here’s how it turned out:
