The rest of January was pretty good, we got a “big” snow just 3 days after my birthday. It wasn’t really that much, but the kids LOVED it! Caroline wanted to eat it as it was coming down, then she started grabbing handfuls from the ground to eat!
Luke wasn’t too sure about this cold, wet stuff, but he liked it okay and giggled as it came down on him and as it crunched under his feet:
Gigi has been at it again with her adorable creations and made several things for the kids:
And that’s not even all the outfits she’s done lately! Thank you, Gigi!
On all those cold, winter days we had to find some things to do inside. I introduced Luke to play-doh, which he decided looked good enough to eat! Silly boy won’t eat real food but he tried play-doh!
There was a freak warmish day when it wasn’t raining so we took a trip to the park:
Later in the month, my parents finally got to come for a visit that was originally scheduled for my birthday weekend. My mom was too sick to come so they had to wait a couple of weeks. It was worth the wait and the kids had a blast with DeeDee!
There were lots of sweet kisses and general shenanigans:
We had fun with them and appreciated their help with the kids while we did the final walk-thru for our remediated house! We were so glad to finally have the keys back, but we still had a long way to go to get it ready to sell. We needed to do some minor yard work and all-around exterior painting as well as general cleaning of the house to get it in great shape. Once we get it on the market, we can finally decide where we want to live and start looking at houses!
