Spring is in full swing around here! The kids (well, mainly Caroline) are excited about wearing their cute summer clothes:
… and new Easter ones:
And getting to be outside more!
Caroline really enjoyed dyeing eggs this year (I didn’t even try with Luke!):
The kids’ school had a sweet little Easter program with an egg hunt and party following. I’m sad I didn’t get any pics of the egg hunt, but I was helping with Caroline’s class party:
Caroline’s favorite teacher, Ms. Shelly:
For Easter this year, we decided to go to Birmingham to be with Chris’ family. We gave the kids their Easter baskets that morning, then headed down on Saturday after Caroline’s soccer game. Gigi had some Easter baskets waiting for the kids when we got there:
We took some pics of the Gigi and the kids:
Then we headed up to the Vulcan on the mountain. Chris and I had been there together while we were dating, but it was fun to go back with the kids and grandparents. The kids were missing their naps and were WILD but they had fun running around:
Then Easter Sunday, we went to church and then headed over to Chris’ mom’s cousin’s house for a big Easter dinner. They were sweet to hid eggs for the kids to find and we got some pics before and after church:
When the kids got antsy, we headed back home, hoping they would nap in the car. It was a great time with family celebrating the resurrection of our Savior! He IS Risen!
