Our little Caroline has turned out to be a little ham! She loves to be the center of attention and even when she's not, she'll do something to get it. One funny thing she did at lunch today with some church friends was to laugh when everyone else was laughing. Then we'd all laugh at her and she'd laugh some more - it was so cute! We also have a little game we play in the car: she'll say "ha haaa" and I'll say "ha haaa" and we'll go back and forth til we're both laughing. She'll start it when she's in a good mood and sometimes I'll start it if she's fussy and it'll make her laugh instead (this doesn't always work by the way, but it helps).
She's also learned to wave and she'll wave at cars or whoever is passing by. Here's a video of her waving in her highchair:
Recently she's become interested in the full-length mirror in the guest room. She'll crawl up to it and laugh and point to herself. The other day she started kissing the "baby in the mirror." I captured it on video:
One more thing... Caroline took a few steps on her own!! Chris was "walking her" all over the house holding her hands and he walked he toward me and let go and she kept on going a few steps before falling. We tried to get her to do it again so we could get it on video, but she wouldn't. I'm not in a big hurry for her to walk, but it was exciting to see her first steps! I know it won't be much longer...
I hope you've enjoyed reading - I finally feel like I have stuff to blog about! I realize these stories may not be interesting to everyone but I just wanted have a record of it and thought I'd share :) I'm trying to go thru some other videos to put on picasa this week so I'll let you know when those are up.

That second video was so cute. I remember back when we had a bookshelf with books on the bottom. Ah, the memories.
Oh, and Caroline was cute too.
This is ALL very interesting -- and CUTE!
And David is right -- say goodbye to leaving things on the bottom shelf for at least the next two years...
