New look

Hope everyone likes our new blog header and background. It was time for a change! I used a tutorial from a friend's blog for the header and it was so easy & fun I'll have to change it every month - ha! I've also put up new pictures on our picasa site so check those out.

We've had a fun week! My mom came to visit last Friday and helped me get the house ready for a baby shower I was hosting for one of my friends from church. She was great to help me clean up and watch Caroline so I could get everything ready and then played with her upstairs during the shower. Then my mom stayed over a few extra days since I'm off work this week. I'm leaving my current job to return to my old job I had for 3 1/2 years before Caroline was born. I'm excited to get back to my old friends, but will miss my new friends too! I'm just hoping Caroline will adjust well and behave herself :) My mom was planning to leave on Tuesday, but got "snowed in" and decided to stay until Wednesday! Chris and I were so glad to have a free babysitter here with us and got to go out alone a couple of times while she was here - so fun! Since she left I've been staying busy going to lunch with friends and doing a little shopping and catching up! And Caroline has been sleeping a lot - maybe she's going through a growth spurt?!
She'll be 10 months old on Monday on her first day at her new school, so I'll try to give an update next week.
