Our baby girl is 17 months today! She is growing fast and finally wearing all 18-month clothes. She loves to play outside and listen to music, and her new favorite skill is working puzzles. She LOVES her wild animal puzzle I got her at the dollar store, so we got her a few more and she can work them all! She is saying so many new words now and is even saying phrases. I’ve tried to write them all down, but I’m sure I’m forgetting some:
Phrases: “bye-bye Gigi” (or whoever), “there she is!”, “I love you”, “all clean”, “I see baby”, “I see you”, and “I’m a nut” (from the song).
Words: hey, daddy, mommy, bird, cracker, more, shoes, socks, Amen, duck, hot, doggie, wet, yogurt, bye-bye, baby, bubble, ball, belly, whoa, apple, bath, night-night, fruit, milk, juice, flower, outside, mail, nana (for banana), vroom-vroom (for vacuum), and puzzle.
She can also say our family members’ names now, and it’s so sweet!
Gigi (Chris’ mom) is also celebrating her birthday today – Happy Birthday, Gigi! They’re coming to visit on Saturday and we’ll go out to dinner and celebrate with cake at home afterwards.
