It all started Sunday afternoon. We got Caroline all dressed up in her costume to go to our church’s Harvest Hey Day. She was the cutest ladybug there!
She was a little afraid of the inflatables, but she enjoyed walking around and played a few of the little games with prizes. Chris volunteered to help man the little jump house, so we just hung out.
We saw our friends Allie and Isaac:
That night when I came down with a terrible stomach bug! I threw up every 30-45 minutes for 12 hours! I wanted to die! I thought I was going to have to go to the emergency room with dehydration, but I finally stopped and was able to keep a little liquid down. It was a good thing because I’m 8 weeks PREGNANT! That’s right, Caroline is going to be a big sister some time around June 5, 2011! Here’s our big sister-to-be with our little peanut:
I had my first OB appointment on Tuesday and the night before, Chris’ dad went to the hospital with chest pain. They kept him overnight and ended up having to do surgery to put stints in his heart. So Chris rushed down Tuesday morning and I took Caroline to school and went on to the doctor. They did an ultrasound and said everything looked fine and I was measuring right on track. The heartbeat was in the 160s, so we might be in for another girl!
We’ve had fun telling our families, who just happened to both be coming to town right after we found out I was pregnant, so now it’s time to tell all our friends!
Caroline has a harvest fest day at school tomorrow, so she’ll get to wear her costume again before Halloween. Hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend!

We are so excited that you'll be welcoming another baby to your family! But feel better soon!
P.S. email me that pic of Isaac when you get a chance.
