We had beautiful weather this weekend, so it was perfect for my parents coming up to visit. They arrived Friday afternoon and we had fun catching up that night. Then Saturday we relaxed in the morning, then headed to Athens for the Fiddlers’ Convention after Caroline’s nap. They had lots of booths with hand-made crafts and food and plenty of seating for watching/listening to the music. Caroline tolerated being in the stroller until after we ate dinner, then she wanted to get out. So we left the men to watch the fiddlers and my mom and I walked around with Caroline. Well, she ran around and waved at everyone, so I didn’t get to look too much, but it was fun anyway. When she wore herself out, we were ready to head home, so I put her up on my shoulders to find Chris and my dad. She loved it:
Sunday after church we went to lunch with Chris’ brother Will, who is working here in Huntsville for the semester. Caroline was SO excited to see him and they played outside while we were waiting for our table. Caroline also loved the rocking chairs:
After lunch and a nap, we headed across town again to see my Aunt Evelyn. We hadn’t seen her in a while, so we had a good visit:
