We’ve had another busy weekend! Friday night was our Sunday school Christmas party and even though children were welcome, we decided to get a babysitter. And I’m so glad we did! It was nice to be able to visit with people and not have to chase her and worry about what she was getting into. And we got to stay as long as we wanted!
Then Saturday morning I put together the play kitchen Caroline got from my parents and us for Christmas. She had fun opening the cabinets and playing with the pretend food:
Then we got our Christmas tree! I had done a little decorating earlier in the week and took down all the fall decorations, so I was ready for a tree! We got a balsam fir instead of a fraser fir, and it looks the same for half the price! We put the lights and the star on and Caroline loved it! Then today we put the ornaments on after our naps and Caroline had fun “helping” me:
Then we watched Auburn win the SEC championship game – WAR EAGLE!! On to the National Championship in January :)

What a fancy kitchen!! Oh I would have LOVED having one of those as a kid. Glad she gets to play with it even before Christmas.
