We’re down to the last few days before baby Luke arrives! Last Monday, my doctor said I was still 3cm and about 80% effaced and would be ready any time. But she asked how I felt about being induced this week and I said that would be great! But I was really thinking I wouldn’t make it that long, but here I am still pregnant! So she scheduled me to come in this Tuesday night to the hospital to be induced, so he’ll probably be born sometime Wednesday, June 1st! My sister also flies in on that day, so she’ll be here just in time to meet baby Luke!
After my doctor’s appointment last week, I started having a lot of contractions that afternoon. They were starting to be more regularly spaced (like 8-10 minutes), so I was glad my parents were on the way here! Then Chris’ mom and sister came up that night, just in case it was time. But my contractions slowed up that night and did the same thing the next few nights, but nothing happened! So this baby is a tease! We kept thinking he was coming and then nothing. Chris’ family left Wednesday night and will be back tomorrow. At least we know the end is in sight! I’m getting excited that D-day is almost here and I’m ready for some relief!

Hopefully you get relief before D-day. It's not until June 6th.
