This coming weekend is Gigi’s birthday, but we weren’t all able to get together so we decided to celebrate this past weekend in Birmingham. We arrived Saturday around lunch time and had fun visiting and playing until nap time. Then we got a babysitter to keep the kids while the 6 “adults” went to a nice restaurant for her birthday dinner. It was delicious!
Then we came home and put Caroline to bed and had birthday cake and gifts. Here’s the birthday girl and her yummy cookie cake from Carrye:

On Sunday, we all went to church and lunch together before coming back for naps; then we headed home that evening. It’s always an adventure traveling with 2 young kids, but they did great!
