With this beautiful Fall weather we’re having, we took the opportunity to visit Tate Farms. It’s a local farm outside of town that mostly grows cotton, but also has a pumpkin patch and lots of activities for kids. Caroline had a blast! She didn’t want to leave! She loved all the slides and climbing equipment, but her favorite was the corn crib – think big sandbox but full of corn kernels!
They even had a petting zoo area with sheep, chickens, goats, a calf, and bunnies.
Then we went on a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. Caroline wanted a green pumpkin (when we hadn’t even seen them) and sure enough, she found one!
Luke hung out in the stroller most of the time, but he break out to go on the hay ride to the pumpkin patch:
This was about the best we could do at getting a picture of both kids:
There was also a tractor pulling little corn cars behind it that Caroline also enjoyed:
They had a huge wagon full of pumpkins:
It was a fun way to welcome Fall, my favorite time of year!
