The Tuesday before Christmas we loaded up the car and headed down to Birmingham to spend the night with Chris’ family on the way to Jackson. We left that morning and arrived around lunchtime and had a good visit with the Hodges. Then we attempted to take a family picture – here’s the best one:
That night we exchanged gifts with them and the kids had a blast! Caroline got some new bedding for her new baby bed, a princess music player with headphones, some new clothes, coloring books and more!
Luke racked up too with some new clothes and toys:

So much easier with just one!
We ate a wonderful roast dinner that night and headed to Jackson the next morning.
