Christmas in November

Since Thanksgiving in late this year, it seems like the Christmas stuff if in full swing! It’s not even Thanksgiving and we’ve already done 2 of our favorite Christmas traditions! The first was the walking tour of the Galaxy of Lights at the Botanical Gardens. It was a cool evening, but not too bad and the kids enjoyed seeing the lights and running around with their friends.

We stopped half-way thru to get free cookies and hot chocolate and to take a little break. We had fun!
Then Friday night we went to Santa’s Village to see more fake snow (and Santa, of course!). Caroline was so sweet and said she’d take a picture with Santa but Luke was NOT! He didn’t even want me to hold him next to Santa for the picture, but I’m fine with that. We got a cute pic of Caro:

The kids enjoyed seeing the reindeer and decorating cookies and playing in more fake snow:

Later that weekend, we had the pleasure of attending the birthday bash of the year for some good friends who were having a Dr. Seuss party. They had some cute props and fun things for the kids:
