26 weeks

This week Caroline's length is measured head-to-toe instead of crown-to-rump, which makes her nearly 15 inches long now! And weighing in at just over 2 pounds her weight has doubled in the last 4 weeks! No wonder my belly is growing by the day!
Her auditory development is progressing as the network of nerves to her ears matures. Even though the sounds she hears are muffled, she may recognize our voices. So this would be a good time to start reading & singing & talking to her (we've done some of that already).
Her taste buds are also very developed as she's tasting different flavors in her amniotic fluid. She has more taste buds now than she'll have after she's born!

No word on the crib yet, but I'm sure it'll be later this week. Hopefully we'll have some more nursery pictures to post next week!
