Crib Update

Well, I've finally heard back from the store this morning about my crib. It's a long story, but basically the crib company stopped making the dropside version and are making it with fixed sides and didn't bother telling the store owner they weren't sending out any more of the dropside ones (I ordered it back in December, if you remember). So I said I didn't mind having one with fixed sides as long as the mattress could move up and down, which it does. However, the fixed-side ones won't get off the BOAT until the first of April, so they wouldn't get to the store until the middle or end of April (which to me means May)! Oh and she couldn't just let me have the floor model from her store because it was broken! Now I have to decide if I just want to wait it out (which would be okay since we're planning to use the pack-n-play at first anyway) or if I want to order a new one after all this time! The only thing is, it was the only crib I really liked. So for now I'm going to wait for it, unless I can find somewhere online that has them in stock already from the company. I thought it was a good thing I ordered it 6 months EARLY, but maybe I should have ordered it SOONER! Oh well, as long as Caroline has a place to sleep, I guess it'll be okay. I just wanted the room to be finished!!
