Caroline was out of school this week for Spring break, so I decided to go to the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga with my friend Lauren and her 2 kiddos. We loaded up our minivan with 4 carseats for the 4 kids under 4 (yes, we might be crazy!) and headed out mid-morning:
The babies were in the middle row and I drove while Lauren was the backseat coordinator. The girls were a little feisty on the way up, but mainly because Caroline couldn’t keep her hands to herself and was pestering Allie. Anyway, we made it to Chattanooga for lunch and to nurse the babies before heading to the aquarium.
The girls LOVED seeing all the animals and fish and did really well considering it was during their usual nap time.
It was quite warm that day so we stopped by the café for some ice cream (and more nursing!) afterwards. Then we took a few more pictures and let the girls run around before getting back in the car.
On the way home, we set up the iPad with the Pooh movie and it was MUCH quieter than on the way there! Even the babies slept! It did get a little harry the last 30 minutes or so, but we had fun and made it home just in time for our hubbies to get off work!
