Last weekend, the weather was beautiful and the kids were out of school so we met some friends at the Botanical Gardens Friday morning. The kids loved seeing the train and throwing leaves in the koi pond for the fish. Even Uncle Si was there! They also had fun on the hammocks and we spent a looong time on those. I had thought we might play in the fountains after it warmed up a little (that’s why they’re in bathing suits), but we had too much fun doing other things and ran out of time!
Chris got off work early and met us there, then we headed home for lunch and naps. Since the kids both napped, we decided to go out for an early dinner then go have fun! We ate outside at a restaurant then headed over to Southern Adventures (small amusement park in town) to ride some rides! Caroline and Luke enjoyed the stationary rides almost as much as the moving ones!
On to the real thing… Caroline and I rode the swings and it was great fun! Chris took her on the go carts and then both kids rode a little rocket ride.
