Vail, part 3

The next day was pretty, but even colder! I started getting a cold that morning and my nose wouldn’t stop running! I couldn’t even make it to the end of the day without stopping and warming up (and getting more tissues!) after every run or 2. But, we did get to see Caroline’s ski school class do a few runs up on the mountain. Here are some of the views from our runs:

We were so proud of our little skier – she loved skiing up on the “big hill” and riding the magic carpet lift.

After we were done skiing, Chris returned our skis and Caroline played on the playground one last time:

She had fun romping around, then we walked around Lionshead Village where we were staying. Here’s our condo:

Then we took a bus over to Vail Village to walk around and eat dinner. Caroline loved the bus, but she was TIRED!

So I carried her some and we warmed up by a fire:

We ate at a little pizza place and headed back to the condo – we had an early flight, and an even earlier shuttle ride to the airport, so we called it a night!

We had some delays on our flights in and out of Dallas because they were getting so much snow! It was crazy!

But we finally made it back to Jackson only a few hours late. We were glad to see our little Buddy and so thankful for my parents who took such good care of him!

I’ll try to get more pics and videos up on Picasa soon…
