This week in baby land...
Sweet pea is growing quickly and is now about an inch and a half long, about the size of a prune! Bones and cartilage are forming and knees and ankles are developing. Tooth buds are forming under the gums and the baby's stomach is producing digestive juices. Its eyes are fused shut to keep out amniotic fluid, and the placenta should be visible on ultrasound.
Not too much to report in mommy land, things are about the same. Just really tired and a little nauseous in the late afternoon and evenings. But it's really not bad at all and I know it'll be worth it! My next O.B. appointment is on October 20th, so hopefully we'll get to hear the heartbeat again, although they're not planning another ultrasound unless they can't hear the heart with the Doppler.

When will you give the site for your "baby bump" pics? I know that there isn't a difference yet. I can't wait to talk baby at Thanksgiving!
